Today, Anxiety has become a very common thing for millions of people worldwide and now, even children are experiencing it. There are different types of anxiety disorders, but I will talk only about GAD.

GAD – The full form is ‘Generalized Anxiety Disorder’. This is the most commonly occurring anxiety form in people. Under this disorder, a person worries excessively and in an uncontrollable way. The affected person worries in an irrational way about things that would normally not be such an issue. This excessive level of worrying interferes with daily life of a person.

There are different symptoms of the generalized anxiety disorder that result as fatigue, nausea, headaches, numbness, muscle tension, difficulty swallowing, muscle aches, breathing difficulty, twitching, trembling, sweating, rashes, insomnia, and irritability.

The GAD Treatment –
When it comes to the treatment of GAD, I would say drugs should be a last resort.  Many types of medications that are used for anxiety disorder carry severe side effects that affect your body and mental health. I recommend you to stay away from drugs like ‘Valium’ and ‘Xanax and instead, you should try the generalized anxiety disorder treatment that is natural.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy – This is one of the most successful generalized anxiety disorder treatments that have cured millions of people. Short referred to as ‘CBT’, this treatment works with a talk and behavior adjustment therapy. In this therapy, the therapist guides the patient about their fears for different kinds of things and helps them deal with the related situation. In some cases, therapists also include the relaxation techniques to cure generalized anxiety disorder.

Exercises – Doing exercises for reducing stress help greatly for GAD. When you do exercises, it balances the hormones in your body and that keeps you fit and you are prepared to fight the difficult situations in your life. Apart from regular exercises that you perform in the GYM, you can practice the ancient meditation technique ‘Yoga’ that has been used for centuries. It is a great way to relive from stress and the best part is that it is natural with no side effects. There are many Yoga postures that help specially for reducing stress and lowering down the anxiety level.

Herbs – Herbs like ‘St. John’s Wort’ are also very effective in treating the anxiety disorders. This natural herb is very helpful in improving the mood and calming the nerves of the suffering people. The St. John’s Wort herb helps the patients confront the causes and symptoms of their anxiety disorder and make their life better. This GAD natural treatment effectively alters the thinking patterns of the patient and helps them keep their mind free from the effects of negativity that worsens the situation. Also, the ‘Kava Kava’ herb is a great natural remedy that is used for anxiety disorders, however, there are some safety warnings for the people who have liver related problems and take liver affecting drugs.

Apart from these ways of generalized anxiety disorder treatment, you can also practice many breathing & relaxation techniques that are very helpful to cure generalized anxiety disorder.

There are many stress relief practices you can do that only take a short amount of time. Take deep, cathartic breath while not t thinking. Maybe, a nice piece of chocolate, for instance. Hire a wedding planner that can do most of everything and that will put you at ease. Ask your husband for help, also.
