‘Severe Anxiety’, these two words are really very horrifying. Severe Anxiety disorder is very dangerous as its effects are really threatening.

Severe Anxiety – This form of anxiety creates an extreme level of stress & depression in a person and the affected person experiences panic attacks or panic disorder symptoms that are very frightening. It can ruin the life of an affected person.

The worst part about this disorder is that the affected person constantly thinks of committing suicide and many negative thoughts are coming into their mind all the time and they have no control over it. These people really need extra care by their family members.

If you feel like you are experiencing severe disorders, it’s a good idea to first have a physical check-up with your personal doctor to find out if it could be caused by the medications you are already taking or if your have a hormone imbalance like in the thyroid. Other possible causes like asthma or blood sugar abnormalities can be covered along with possible reactions to over the counter drugs.

Once these external causes are eliminated with your doctor, ask him to recommend a therapist that has experience with anxiety disorders treatment. There are different styles of therapy practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and others that have worked for millions to eliminate the source of the fears in as few as 5 to 10 sessions.

Cognitive Behavior Therapy is very effective for these problems. The CBT therapist works with the patient and identifies the root cause of their fear and negative emotions and then works on modifying their thinking pattern. This is a really effective & popular treatment of severe anxiety that millions of people have benefited from. This works just as great as a social anxiety treatment as well.

Also combine your therapy with practicing Tai Chi, Qi Gong or Yoga mediation techniques. They are incredibly beneficial. Avoiding certain foods in the diet also help for this problem. Items like sugar, refined grains, caffeine, tobacco, alcohol, and nicotine worsen the situation. Having plenty of water, protein and fresh fruits and vegetables will make a difference in how someone feels quickly.

Monitor the diet and stay away from the foods like sugar and caffeine that aggravate severe anxiety.

    I have been a victim of Severe Anxiety for quite a long time and it just ruined my life. I cannot just describe the way it affects your life and you cannot do anything about it.
